From Conflict to Harmony-Aikido Seminar

The first demonstration and technical class of Shishiya shihan in Tehran . Iran

On 25th and 26th of August 2016, Iran Aikido Arai Dojo hosted Shihan Ichiro Shishiya, one of the masters of Aikido, and a few of his students from Europe. Shishiya Shihan along with Samadi Sensei taught the most original Aikido techniques at this seminar. One important technical feature of Shishiya Shihan is his usage of Ken and Jo in all his techniques.

The efforts made by Reza Samadi Sensei for inviting foreign Aikidokas to help Iranians know the different styles of Aikido practice is an indication of his open-mindedness, strong connections, and his courage in the technical dimension which makes him an exemplary amongst the world’s Aikido masters.
